Keeping a server up to date can be a nightmare - security alerts, new software versions, kernel upgrades, malicious hackers, who has the time? Let Blue Note Web Services take over the responsibilities for you! Blue Note has server technicians on staff who are highly skilled in all areas of Linux server administration and can keep your server locked up tight.

No two servers are completely alike, and no two jobs will ever be the same. However, here is a general guideline of common requests:

Kernel Upgrade (prepackaged) - $30

Kernel Upgrade (custom) - $50

Basic Security Audit (includes version check/upgrade of all software
(incl. kernel), installation of Shorewall or APF firewall, rkhunter &
chrootkit, shutting down of unnecessary services) - $50

Initial Setup (CentOS, RHEL or Debian - includes installation of a
control panel or standalone web server software [license provided by
client], configured to client's specifications, and basic security audit
as above. no plugins or third-party addons are included) - $150

RH9/FC1 -> CentOS 3.x migration - $40

Any work not listed here will be billed at $40 hourly in 30 minute increments.
